Guideline for Oral Presentations:
Presentation time is 15 minutes for each paper, including the introduction, any questions and switching between presentations. It is important that the sessions remain on time. A session chair will be assigned to each session to make sure the schedule is maintained and to coordinate the question-answer portion of your talk. Please follow the instructions of the session chair during your talk.
What will be available in the conference room?
Each presentation room is equipped with a laptop computer, a data projector, a microphone, and a lectern. The laptops are equipped with:
· » Windows 7
· » USB port, DVD player
· » Mircosoft Office 2013
· » Adobe Reader, Flash Player, Media Players
· » Anti-Virus software
The data projectors support 4:3 format. They are equipped with standard VGA cables.
Presenters are advised to check if their PowerPoint slides can be displayed properly using PowerPoint 2007.
We recommend that you copy your slides to the provided laptop. Please do so in the break before your session. There are volunteers in each meeting room to assist presenters. They will help you to copy your slides from a USB stick to the laptop.
If you really want to use your own laptop, do this at your own risk. If you have to spend time to get it to work during the session, you will lose this time for your presentation.
When should I test my presentation?
Make sure you copy your slides and run a test during the break preceding your talk or during the half hour before the first morning/afternoon session begins. You should arrive at your session room 15 minutes before the session starts to meet with your session chair.
What else do I need to bring?
If you really want to use your own laptop, please remember to bring your own AC adapter (220V, don't forget to bring the appropriate adapter). If your laptop is not compatible with a VGA cable, please also bring the required VGA adapter.
The program schedule lists the session chairs for each session and the room information at the venue. All presenters should know who their session chair is and introduce themselves to the session chair before the session starts.
Guideline for Poster Presentations:
The maximum dimensions of your poster should be 90 cm (width) x 120 cm (height). In order to fit the poster board, your poster should not exceed the recommended size.
Font-sizes: 72 pt (main title), 48 pt (subtitles), 32 pt (body text)
The name of each author must be clearly visible.
Poster should be printed and brought to the congress by authors.
The Organizing Committee will provide all materials necessary to affix posters to the wall. Please check the schedule for your designated session. You are expected to be present at your poster during the whole session.
